BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- East China's Shandong Province achieved positive results in its economic and trade cooperation with countries and regions along the Belt and Road routes in the first three quarters of 2018.
The province's trade volume with these countries and regions amounted to 368.18 billion yuan from January to September, up 0.2 percent year on year.
It saw the amount of foreign investment in actual use from the B&R countries and regions reach 6.85 billion yuan in the first nine months, up 36.8 percent, while its actual investment in these countries and regions was 7.01 billion yuan, up 17.2 percent.
Besides, it completed 28.18 billion yuan worth of turnover in projects contracted with B&R countries and regions, up 4.2 percent. Among its new project contracts with these countries and regions, the number of projects each with a contract value of over 10 million U.S. dollars was 46 during the period. (Edited by Gu Shanshan)
