BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Local governments are mulling more policies to support the transformation and upgrading of private enterprises, according to a source at the chairman meeting of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce held in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province.
Shandong, for example, is now formulating measures to facilitate the high-quality development of private enterprises, according to Liu Jiayi, Secretary of Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPC, reported the Economic Information Daily.
Other provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong also vow a new round of support to push upgrading of private entities in ways such as cross-field optimization of development strategies, strengthening scientific and technological innovation and optimizing corporate management, according to the report.
