BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Singapore Exchange (SGX) recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Future Association (CFA) to facilitate Chinese companies' overseas financing.
The two parties would give support to Chinese companies looking to expand their business internationally, and SGX will strengthen its financing function to provide more diversified products and services to international capital that wish to invest in Chinese market, said Loh Boon Chye, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SGX.
It is noted that SGX now has 750-plus listed companies in which more than 100 come from China. These companies had over 130 billion yuan market capitalization and more than 65 billion yuan of accumulative funding raised by the end of 2017, according to the CEO. (Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe)
