BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Chongqing has recently introduced 36 measures to reduce the cost of manufacturing enterprises, according to the local government.
It will improve the land supplies, lower transportation costs and implement tax incentives to help promote development of the manufacturing enterprises.
Meanwhile, Chongqing will also reduce financing costs of the manufacturing enterprises and support their intelligent transformation and upgrading.
It will encourage financial institutions to develop innovative financial products and service models and offer favorable loans to the manufacturing enterprises.
In addition, Chongqing will increase market-oriented power trading, and further liberalize the threshold of direct trading to reduce energy costs of the manufacturing enterprises. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
