BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Northeast China’s Liaoning Province has signed a cooperation agreement with China Merchants Group on November 3.
Under the agreement, China Merchants Group will inject more capitals and acquire 49.9 percent stakes of the controlling shareholder of port of Dalian and Yingkou Port, the leading port and shipping groups in Liaoning province.
The move marks that Liaoning province has made a breakthrough in resource integration and integrated operation of ports.
China Merchants Group will enhance the cooperation with Liaoning government in the fields of port operation, logistics transportation, parks development, and financial service. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
