BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- China will build a standardized and efficient recycling system to promote the use of waste power batteries, said Li Li, an official of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) at a forum in Beijing.
Waste power battery recycling has great significance to protecting ecological environment, realizing resource recycling and promoting sustainable development of new energy automobile industry. It is an urgent task to accelerate the construction of a waste power battery recycling system, which requires the participation of governments, enterprises and other social parties, noted by Li.
