BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has recently signed a service agreement on investment and financing of overseas projects with TBEA Co., Ltd., according to the yidaiyilu.gov.cn.
Under the agreement, the two sides will further deepen long-term and stable strategic cooperation relationships in the field of "going global". ICBC will provide all-around financial services to TBEA on overseas engineering contracting and equipment export, cross-border investment and M&A, export of superior products, and foreign countries' risk management.
In recent years, ICBC has actively provided diversified financial services for Chinese enterprises' going global.
At present, ICBC has established its branches in 46 countries and regions in the world. Meanwhile, it has set up 129 branches in 20 countries along the Belt and Road routes, covering the fields of electricity grid, resources, and infrastructure construction.
Since 2011, ICBC has accumulatively provided financing support worth 1 billion U.S. dollars. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
