BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Suning Mobile, a virtual operator, has already gained a formal commercial license from the authority, bringing the total number of the virtual operators obtaining the commercial licenses to 22, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on Monday.
These virtual operators include HNA Telecom, Minsheng Telecommunication, JD Mobile, Ali Telecom, and Zhongyou Century.
These enterprises have passed the pilot test and can attract more resources, concentrate on business innovation and market promotion to promote the mobile communications resale industry to a higher level, said researchers of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).
Data shows that the total number of the virtual operators' users in China has exceeded 70 million, making China the world's largest market for the mobile virtual network operators. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
