BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Bank of China (BOC, 601988.SH, 03988.HK) said its net profit in the first three quarters of 2018 rose 5.34 percent year on year to 153.27 billion yuan.
According to a filing to the stock exchange, the BOC achieved an operating income of about 376.14 billion yuan in the first three quarters of this year, a year-on-year increase of 3.32 percent.
The company will issue domestic preferred shares not exceeding 1 billion shares and not exceeding 100 billion yuan, said BOC at the same day.
BOC, one of the largest banks in China, provides a comprehensive range of financial services to customers across the Chinese mainland as well as 51 countries and regions.
