BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Dongfeng Automobile Co.,Ltd. (600006.SH), the listed arm of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, announced net profits of 414 million yuan for the first three quarters of 2018, soaring 259 percent year on year.
In a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company reported operating revenue of 9.243 billion yuan for the first nine months, down 28.88 percent on year.
Earnings per share were 0.21 yuan for the period, said the listed company.
The filing also shows that China Securities Finance Corporation Limited became a new shareholder of Dongfeng Automobile in the third quarter, holding a 0.19-percent stake. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
