BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Central China's Hunan province exported 1.6 billion yuan worth of rail transit equipment to the countries and regions along Belt and Road routes in the first three quarters of this year, an increase of 250 percent year on year, according to statistics of the local customs.
The export value of rail transit equipment to Turkey in the first three quarters was 770 million yuan, an increase of 87.5 percent, and that to Malaysia was 720 million yuan, an increase of 514 times.
Besides, the railway transit vehicle exports of Hunan province continued to grow. In the first three quarters, the export volume of battery-powered railway electric locomotives was 71.13 million yuan, an increase of 16.5 times.
