Abstract : The accumulated proven geological reserves of shale gas in China have exceeded one trillion cubic meters as of the end of this April, according to the China Mineral Resource Report 2018 released on the China Mining 2018 held in port city Tianjin.
BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) – The accumulated proven geological reserves of shale gas in China have exceeded one trillion cubic meters as of the end of this April, according to the China Mineral Resource Report 2018 released on the China Mining 2018 held in port city Tianjin.
China has discovered 173 minerals by the end of 2017 among which natural gas hydrate, being a new mineral item, was predicted to be approximately 80 billion tonnes oil equivalent in China’s sea waters, according to the report. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
