BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangxi Province has launched a batch of measures to accelerate the development of virtual reality industry recently, proposing to provide support in product promotion and application, professional talents and public service in a bid to build virtual reality industry into an industry cluster and innovation highland.
The province will grant up to 1 million yuan to approved major national science and technology projects and national R&D programs with virtual reality enterprises as their first responsible units.
Besides, it will grant up to 1 million yuan and 500,000 yuan respectively to national-recognized and provincial-recognized technology business incubators.
Jiangxi Province will also support the government to purchase virtual reality products and services, and encourage pilot applications in education, medical care, culture, tourism, industry and other fields.
