BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese composite materials producer Weihai Guangwei Composites Co., Ltd (300699.SZ) Friday announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with Danish wind turbines manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
According to the MoU signed on Thursday, the two sides will expand application of the carbon fiber products produced by Guangwei in wind turbine generators and work together to develop other composite materials used to build wind turbines.
The Chinese company also agreed to cooperate with Vestas in building the carbon beam plant in Mexico to meet Vestas's requirements for the time and standards of the carbon beam production. (Edited by Li Wenxin, Yang Qi, liwenxin@xinhua.org)
