BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on Thursday launched the trading of the standard warehouse warrants of four metals including lead, zinc, tin and nickel.
Earlier, the SHFE launched the trading of the standard warehouse warrants of copper and aluminum on a trial basis, which has promoted the transfer of warehouse warrants and met the diversified delivery needs of the enterprises.
As of the close of the trading on Thursday, the warrant trading platform of the SHFE saw 176 deals concluded, representing 3,025 warehouse warrants, involving 65,394 metric tons (tonnes) of the six nonferrous metals worth 1.125 billion yuan. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
