BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Foreign trade of central China's Henan Province hit a new high of 366.82 billion yuan (52.99 billion U.S. dollars) in the first three quarters of this year, up 16.3 percent year on year, according to data released by Zhengzhou Customs on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that the province's trade with Belt and Road countries totaled 80.42 billion yuan (11.62 billion U.S. dollars) in the same period, up 37 percent year on year, of which the trade volume with Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries was 6.02 billion yuan, increasing 1.1 times.
More and more Henan companies begin to take part in foreign trade. In the first three quarters, 7,032 enterprises had actual import and export business in the province, an increase of 14.8 percent year on year. Among them, import and export value of 252 enterprises exceeded 100 million yuan.
