BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- China’s Gansu province recently introduced 42 projects in key areas at a promotion meeting intending to attract total private investment of 109 billion yuan.
The projects mainly cover such areas as transportation, municipal construction, environmental protection, water conservancy, and cultural tourism. The expected return on investment for the projects range from 4.9 percent to over 10 percent.
With a string of incentive measures for private investment in the recent years, private investment in Gansu Province increased 0.86 percent year on year in the first half of this year, returning to positive growth from the negative ones since the second half of 2016, said Feng Xu, deputy director of Gansu Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
