BEIJING, Sept.20 (Xinhua) – The local government of China’s Xi’an, capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi province recently released an action plan to promote cultural development, yidaiyilu.gov.cn reported on Tuesday.
According to the action plan, Xi’an is expected to raise the added value of cultural industry to more than 100 billion yuan by 2021, and that of cultural creative industry to 220 billion yuan and 1 trillion yuan by 2021 and 2031, respectively.
The main tasks of the action plan include measures such as actively creating high quality cultural products with world influence in Xi’an, while facilitating cultural exchanges with foreign countries, enhancing the construction of public facilities and building Xi’an into a city with oriental characteristics. （Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe）
