BEIJING, Sept.17 (Xinhua) –China saw investment from Belt and Road countries increased 26.3 percent year on year in the first eight months of 2018, according to Gao Feng, spokesman with Ministry of Commerce (MOC), on a press conference held recently.
It is noted that actual foreign investment from ASEAN countries increased 27.2 percent year on year in the first eight months in which actual investment from Singapore rose 17.2 percent year on year during the period.
As for other major investment sources, foreign investment from the Republic of Korea, Japan, UK,US and China's Macao rose 56.9 percent, 33.4 percent, 151.7 percent 23.6 percent and 73.1 percent, respectively. (Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe)
