BEIJING, Sept.17 (Xinhua) – Southwest China’s Sichuan province signed 22 cooperative projects with Singapore on the 19th Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee Conference held recently.
The cooperative projects cover industries such as technology and innovation, transportation and logistics, healthcare and education, according to a report by yidaiyilu.gov.cn.
Meanwhile, the Singapore Innovation Center in Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech innovation Park was inaugurated at the conference.
Since established in 1996, the Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee has developed into an important channel for boosting trade, communication and cooperation between Singapore and Sichuan with Singapore becoming one of the most important inbound investment sources for Sichuan. （Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe）
