BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- The integration of service and trade is key to the initial development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, said Chi Fulin, the president of China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD) at the 12th Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Cooperation & Development Forum and Economic Trade Fairs held lately in Guangzhou.
Chi noted that the release of the potential of domestic demand in Chinese mainland will be a major opportunity for promoting the integration of trade and service in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
China's economy is expected to grow at an average rate around 6 percent in Chinese mainland in the following 10 years, which would lay solid foundation for high-quality development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, said Chi Fulin. (Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe)
