BEIJING, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and South China's Hainan province entered in a cooperation agreement on Thursday.
Under the agreement, the MOC will support Hainan's development in terms of construction of the pilot free trade zone and the free trade port, national-level exhibitions, supply chain innovation and application, and foreign investment cooperation.
The MOC will also hold the international commodities fair jointly with the Hainan Provincial Government, and support Hainan to host the international brand expo.
Meanwhile, the ministry will support Haikou, capital city of Hainan Province, to be a pilot city for supply chain innovation and application, said the agreement. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
