BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) announced that it signed the EPC contract for the second phase of the CBD project in Egypt’s new administrative capital with Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation on September 2.
According to CSCEC, the second phase of the project covers a floor area of 1.8 million square meters and has 20 commercial and residential buildings, and it is next to the first phase of the CBD project, which is still under construction.
Upon completion, the CBD will become a core area with the most commercial value and the best urban functions in the new administrative capital.
