BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com on Tuesday inked a strategic cooperative agreement with Shandong Ruyi, joining forces in areas such as brand entry, unbounded retail, finance, logistics, intelligent supply chain and JD Cloud, according to cs.com.cn.
In the meantime, the two parties would co-establish Ruyi-JD fashion industry innovation development fund to invest in global famous fashion brands and incubate new fashion brands.
JD would also work with Ruyi to pilot JD.BOX smart store, co-building modern lifestyle concept stores that integrate fashion clothing, high-end kitchen appliances, 3C electronics and modern arts.
The two parties would also set up fashion life experience stores in core cities such as Beijing and Shanghai through innovations in product supply chain, big data marketing, and offline businesses.
Consumption could happen anytime, anywhere in the future, said JD CEO Liu Qiangdong, noting that the cooperation with Ruyi marks an important step of JD for implementing its unbounded retail and creating better shopping experience for customers. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
