HANGZHOU, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- East China's Zhejiang will achieve a total output of 3.3 trillion yuan in the comprehensive transportation industry by 2022, with an added value of 900 billion yuan, according to the Zhejiang Provincial Transport Department.
Meanwhile, Zhejiang will speed up the construction of the comprehensive transportation industry. In the next five years to 2022, it will invest about 1 trillion yuan in 70 key transportation projects.
It is reported that the province is quickening the pace to build the intelligent highway linking Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Ningbo. The highway with a projected speed of 120 kilometers per hour will support application of new technologies such as autonomous driving, wireless charging while driving.
