BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- According to the statistics released by Wuhan Customs, the foreign trade volume between Central China's Hubei Province and the countries along the Belt and Road reached 48.53 billion yuan from January to July 2018, a year-on-year increase of 13.8 percent.
Among them, the export volume was 38.68 billion yuan, up 9.9 percent year on year; and the import volume was 9.85 billion yuan, up 32.5 percent.
Meanwhile, the foreign trade volume of Hubei in the first seven months of 2018 reached 182.56 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4 percent year on year. And in July, the foreign trade volume was 30.22 billion yuan, up 4.6 percent. (Edited by Bao Nuomin and Tong Wei, tongwei@xinhua.org)
