BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Sichuan Province saw its foreign trade with the countries along the Belt and Road routes in the first seven months of this year stand at 86.64 billion yuan, an increase of 30.3 percent year on year, according to local Customs.
From the perspective of trading partners along the Belt and Road, Vietnam, Israel, India, etc. witnessed fast grow of foreign trade with the Province during the period.
According to the statistics, the province's total foreign trade stood at 304.8 billion yuan from January to July, up 27 percent compared over the same period of last year.
To be specific, the province's exports amounted to 166.34 billion yuan in the first seven months of this year, up 28.8 percent on year, while its imports stood at 138.46 billion yuan, up 24.8 percent year on year.
In July alone, the province's foreign trade stood at 54.97 billion yuan, up 37.7 percent year on year, hitting a monthly record high. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
