BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Hubei Hongyuan Power Engineering Co., Ltd. of PowerChina and Hebei Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. recently signed the general contract for construction and installation of the 115kV power transmission and distribution line expansion and renovation project in Laos, according to www.bhi.com.cn.
The general contractor of the project is Hebei Installation Engineering, and the owner is Lao state power company, EDL. The project is located in the province of Sainyabuli and Vientiane of Laos.
The project includes construction of two 115kV substations, expansion of two 115kV substations and construction of 127 km 115 kV double circuit line. The construction period of the project is from September 2018 to December 2019.
It is also the first cooperation between Hubei Hongyuan Power Engineering and Hebei Installation Engineering in the international market. (Edited by Yang Qi, kateqiyang@xinhua.org)
