BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- China has seen rapid growth in cross-border express delivery business with stronger cross-border delivery capacity.
According to data from the State Post Burea of China(SPB), the business volume of international express delivery stood at 520 million pieces in the first half of this year, up 43.1 percent year on year.
Data showed that Jingdong Logistics' distribution service in Indonesia has covered 7 major islands and 483 cities, and 85 percent of orders can be delivered within 1 day.
Courier companies such as YTO Express, ZTO Express, and Cainiao Network, are capable of providing a series of supply chain solutions, including receiving, warehouse distribution, and transshipment services, in a bid to achieve 10-day delivery service to major cities around the world.
Meanwhile, Chinese courier companies have stepped up efforts to improve their international air transport capacity.
SF Express opened a number of international air routes and invested in international shipping logistics service platform. ZTO Express established a joint venture in Hong Kong with Turkish Airlines and Pacific Air Holding to deploy global air transport services. YTO Express partnered Air China and other companies in establishing a new logistics hub at Hong Kong International Airport. China Post has built 144 postal cross-border e-commerce warehousing and industrial parks and 11 overseas warehouses in the United States, Britain, Australia, Japan and other countries and regions.
