BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Covestro, the world-leading manufacturer of high-tech polymer materials, is planning to expand film production around the world to meet the growing demand in different regions.
The expansion plan will construct new production lines and upgrade existing lines in several production bases of Covestro, including the ones in Mab Ta Phut in Thailand, Guangzhou in China, South Deerfield in the U.S., and Dormagen in Germany.
For the expansion plan, the company will inject more than 100 million euros in related sectors including infrastructure and logistics. The plan is expected to create more than 100 jobs worldwide.
