BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhua) -- China Mobile, a major mobile telecom carrier in China, has piloted commercial run of its cloud Virtual Reality (VR) business in Fuzhou, capital city of Southeast China’s Fujian province on July 18. It was the first to try to introduce cloud VR applications into home scene.
Industrial insiders with Fujian branch of China Mobile said that the business is based on Gigabit home smart networking, WiFi network and cloud rendering technology, and focuses on scenes such as giant screen theater, VR scene, VR fun, VR education, VR games, etc.
