BEIJING, July 19 (Xinhua) -- East China's Zhejiang province saw its foreign trade with the countries along the Belt and Road routes total 427.45 billion yuan in the first half year, up 11.2 percent year on year, accounting for 32.1 percent of the province's total foreign trade during the period.
The province saw its foreign trade turnover totaled 1.33 trillion yuan in H1, up 8.9 percent year on year, according to the local customs.
To be specific, its total value of exports and imports amounted to 983.99 billion yuan and 349.01 billion yuan respectively during the period, an increase of 6 percent and 18 percent year on year.
Lu Haisheng, senior official with local custom said that in the first half of this year, thanks to the recovery of world economy and the steady operation of the domestic economy, the import and export of Zhejiang Province continued to be stable. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
