BEIJING, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese ride-sharing giant DiDi Chuxing announced on Tuesday obtaining of an investment of 500 million U.S. dollars from Booking Holdings along with a strategic cooperation partnership between the two parties.
Booking Holdings brands will offer on-demand car service by DiDi through their apps, and DiDi customers will have the option to book hotels through Booking.com or Agoda, reported Shanghai Securities News.
Through this partnership, the world’s largest online travel platform and the world’s largest mobility platform aspire to develop more customized travel solutions to build a more diversified travel ecosystem, according to announcement by Booking Holdings. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
