BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The global shipments of personal computers (PCs) have increased for the first time in six years, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported on July 13.
According to data released from research firm Gartner, the worldwide shipments of PCs rose 1.4 percent year on year to 62.1 million units in the second quarter of this year, posting the first year-on-year growth since the first quarter of 2012.
Data shows that the top five PC suppliers are Lenovo, HP, Dell, Apple and Acer. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
