BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region reported its foreign trade volume with countries along the Belt and Road routes rose 18.1 percent to 84.83 billion yuan in the first five months of 2018, keeping the fast growing pace.
Specifically, Guangxi’s export and import with countries along the Maritime Silk Road went up 18.5 percent to 83.67 billion yuan; its foreign trade volume with ASEAN countries jumped up 27.6 percent to 80.34 billion yuan, accounting for 96 percent of the total volume with Maritime Silk Road countries.
Meanwhile, apart from countries along the Maritime Silk Road, the three largest trade partners of Guangxi are United Arab Emirates (750 million yuan), India (750 million yuan) and Turkey (360 million yuan).
