BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) – Southeast China's Fujian province saw its foreign trade with the countries along the Belt and Road routes total 161.41 billion yuan in the first five months of the year, up 16.8 percent year on year, accounting for 32.9 percent of the province's total foreign trade during the period, according to the local customs.
To be specific, its exports to the Belt and Road countries amounted to 92.62 billion yuan during the period, an increase of 8.2 percent year on year, while its imports from those countries stood at 68.79 billion yuan, an increase of 30.9 percent year on year.
In May along, Fujian province saw its foreign trade with the countries along the Belt and Road routes total 35.68 billion yuan, up 15.2 percent year on year. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
