BEIJING, June 29 (Xinhua) – Chinese telecom giant China Mobile, together with global partners such as Datang Telecom, Ericsson, Huawei, Intel and Nokia, jointly launched the "5G Standalone (SA) Sailing Action” during the Mobile World Congress Shanghai (MWCS) on June 28.
Yang Xiaowei, deputy director with the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, made the world’s first 5G SA system holographic video call, marking the breakthrough of the 5G SA technology and the acceleration of the 5G industry development. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
