BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The extended standard gauge railway (SGR) line that runs from Kenya Nairobi to Naivasha is expected to start operations around mid-2019, according to Paul Maringa, Kenya Principal Scretary for Transport and Infrastructure.
Constructions for road base, tunnel and bridge for the Nairobi-Naivasha section by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) is currently 70 percent complete, said Paul Maringa. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
