BEIJING, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The first freight train from north China’s Shijiazhuang to Minsk has arrived in the capital of Belarus on June 21, according to yidaiyilu.gov.cn.
The train, loaded with 33 containers, departed from Shijiazhuang in early June.
After traveling about 9,500 kilometers, the train passed through Manzhouli land port before getting to Minsk.
The freight train service will operate three times a month and the train’s journey lasts about 15 days. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
