BEIJING, June 25 (Xinhua) -- China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is working with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) to study policies of supporting financing for the industrial Internet enterprises, the Xinhua-run Economic Information Daily quoted Xie Shaofeng, a MIIT official, as saying on Monday.
In addition, this year, the MIIT has set up a special fund jointly with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to support the development of the industrial Internet, said Xie.
Xie made the remarks at a recent conference about the artificial intelligence manufacturing technology and innovation application.
It is reported that the MIIT will focus on supporting the construction of a number of test verification environments and test beds for the industrial Internet platforms, and foster batches of cross-industry, cross-field, and specific-industry and specific-field industrial Internet platforms.
The list of the first five cross-industry and cross-field industrial Internet platforms will be announced before October 2018. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
