BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China’s Sichuan province in recent years has strengthened the interface with national strategies, plans, and platforms, and deepened the participation in and pragmatically promoted the construction of the Belt and Road initiative to achieve positive results.
Up to now, the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone has launched a total of 159 reform measures and introduced in more than 34,000 companies with registered capital exceeding 400 billion yuan since its establishment.
More than 30 auto parts projects, 162 enterprises, 52 Korean projects, and 30 industrial projects have settled in the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, which gradually become an open highland that integrates high-end and innovative elements.
In addition, the Business & Innovation Center for China-Europe Cooperation, located in the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, has been established and entered operation, which created an economic liaison base for Belt and Road, involving about 150 international organizations, agencies and enterprises.
