Located on the bank of the Ganjiang River and Poyang Lake, Nanchang County is in the south of Nanchang City, the capital of Jiangxi Province. It has a total land area of 1,810 square kilometers and a total population of 1.05 million. It has a profound culture and a history of more than 2,200 years; its economic aggregate ranks first among all counties in Jiangxi Province; it is honored as one of "Top 100 Counties in China," ranking 25th in 2019.

Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in March 2002 and was upgraded to a national economic development zone in July 2012. In 2019, the main business income and the industrial output value totaled 115.2 billion yuan and 117.2 billion yuan respectively. In the comprehensive development assessment of national economic and technological development zones in 2019, Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone ranked 97th in China. In the same year, it was chosen as a National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Upgrading Demonstration Zone by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Second, I want to introduce the industrial parks and platforms in Nanchang County and Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone.

In terms of industrial parks and platforms, I have to mention our development pattern of "One Zone Supporting Four Parks" that has now taken shape.

"One Zone" refers to Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone. There are 258 registered enterprises above designated size. At present, an industrial development pattern is established, which is led by the automobile and parts industry, pillared by food and beverage, medicine and medical devices. Also, it aims at making breakthroughs with many newly-emerging strategic industries like integrated circuits, intelligent equipment manufacturing, new materials and new energy.

"Four Parks"refer to Xiangtang Railway Logistics Park, Wuyang Fabricated Building Industrial Park, Nanxin Binjiang Industrial Park and Qianyi Construction and Technology Industrial Park. Among them, Xiangtang Railway Logistics Parkis a national Grade-A railway logistics base in China, as well as a provincial logistics center in Jiangxi.

The second "Park" is the Wuyang Fabricated Building Industrial Park, which mainly develops prefabricated building industry and is honored as one of "Top 20 Building Materials Park in China".

The third one is Nanxin Binjiang Industrial Park. With a 2-kilometer Ganjiang Bankside Dock, it centers on developing industries like grain and oil processing, new building materials and freight wharf.

The fourth one is the 100-Billion-Yuan Construction and Technology Industrial Park. This park is specifically established to boost the headquarters economy of construction enterprises. The year of 2019 witnessed the output value of construction industry in Nanchang County exceeding 140 billion yuan, accounting for one-sixth of the provincial total.

Besides, I would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce a plan we're currently working on, and also one of our key areas in the future, which is Binjiang Business and Science Innovation Center.

In Dongxin Township, Nanchang County, Binjiang Business and Science Innovation Center situates itself on the east bank of Ganjiang River and on the bank of Fuhe River. It has a total planned area of 12.6 square kilometers. The focus is to develop headquarter buildings, technological innovation, cultural and innovative tourism, high-end commerce and trade, and other industries. Metro Line 4 passes through this area. At present, two river-crossing channels are under planning.

Also, Nanchang County not only features vigorous industrial development, but also emphasizes agriculture. The arable land and the water area in Nanchang County expand for one million mu respectively. The annual grain output reaches one million tons.
