Abstract : South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region strives to vigorously promote the construction of integrated service platform for digital government affairs.
NANNING, June 5 (Xinhua) -- South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is vigorously promoting the construction of integrated service platform for digital government affairs.
It is learned that Guangxi has been the second province among overall 23 non-pilot provinces in the country that achieved a preliminary connectivity with the national platform in March this year.
Construction of the main function of the integrated service platform has been basically completed at the end of March and Laibin is set to become the first pilot city in the region.
The integrated government affairs platform will help to extend government services to towns and villages in a bid to form a government affairs service system, which could create a more convenient business environment for enterprises and provide pleasant and convenient experiences for local residents, said Xi Yang, deputy secretary-general of the autonomous regional government, at a promotion meeting held in Laibin on May 31.
To deepen the connectivity with the national government affairs service platform, Guangxi has finished about 52 tasks and its task completion rate reached 87 percent, ranking first among 23 non-pilot provinces.
So far, Guangxi has seen more than 300 items in 20 government departments achieve integration services, and at the same time, the region shortened the time for project construction approval to 40 working days from original 105 working days.
It is noted that the integrated platform will be fully completed and put into use by September of this year,
Guangxi is devoted to creating a 24-hour online government to make online declaration more convenient, online processing more efficient and online feedback more timely.
