BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- China's leading construction machinery firms made presence in North America's largest construction trade show held in Las Vegas, the U.S. state of Nevada.
The CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020, held from March 10 to March 14 local time, has attracted the attendance of over 2,500 enterprises throughout the world. About 120,000 visitors have registered for a visit.
China's major construction machinery firms including Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG), Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (000680.SZ), and Sunward Equipment Group presented their high-tech products at the exhibition.
Representatives from those Chinese enterprises noted that despite the impact of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, they are still optimistic about the prospects of the industry.
They said that their attendance to the world-level exhibition will not only present global customers with their new products and technology, but also show that China's construction machinery has resumed production in an orderly manner.
In 2019, China's construction machinery industry is expected to reap about 660 billion yuan worth of sales revenues, hitting an all-time high.
Held every three years, CONEXPO-CON/AGG is one of the top three shows worldwide organized by Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
