BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Wednesday announced a total of 36 measures to further enhance its business environment on the official website of the municipal government.
According to a plan published on the website, Shanghai will take 2 to 3 years to further explore and implement a number of breakthrough and leading reform measures and form a batch of governance experiences that can be replicated and promoted, so as to build itself into one of the open economic centers with the most convenient environment for trade and investment and the most complete rule of law system.
To achieve the goal, the city will comprehensively promote the service of application for starting a business through only one application form and the business permit issuance through one service window, said the plan.
Specifically, an applicant can complete all procedures for business start, like getting the business license, in 2 to 3 days through the "one form, one window" service of the city.
Meanwhile, the city will further promote the convenience of taxation to reduce the burden on enterprises, and deepen the reform of cost cut for cross-border trade, according to the plan. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
