Thailand sees CPI rise 1.05 pct year on year in January 2020

Abstract : Thailand's consumer price index (CPI) in January 2020 was 102.78, up 1.05 percent from the same period last year and 0.16 percent from last month, according to the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO).

InfoQuest, (February 13, 2020) --Thailand's consumer price index (CPI) in January 2020 was 102.78, up 1.05 percent from the same period last year and 0.16 percent from last month, according to the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO).

In January 2020, the core CPI stood at 102.82, a year-on-year increase of 0.47 percent and an increase of 0.02 percent compared with that in December 2019.

The index of food and non-alcoholic beverage was 104.83, a year-on-year increase of 1.82 percent and an increase of 0.41 percent compared with that in December 2019. The index of non-food and beverage was 101.64, up 0.67 percent from the same period last year and 0.01 percent from December 2019.
