BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Changshu city of east China's Jiangsu Province has recently held the first Changshu Elite Entrepreneur Alliance Conference, gathering government officials, company representatives as well as Changshu elites to share their insights on co-contributing to Changshu's future development through pooling talents, ideas and capital.
Changshu Elite Entrepreneur Alliance (CEEA) was officially established at the conference in a bid to further enhance contacts and cooperation with domestic as well as overseas Changshu talents.

It is noted that CEEA set up three domestic branches in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, as well as five overseas ones.
Located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta and as an important node where Yangtze River Economic Belt and the coastal economic development belt meet, Changshu has been actively building three 100-billion-yuan scale industries including automobile and parts, equipment manufacturing, textile and clothing in recent years.
In addition, being close to Shanghai, the city is accelerating its integration into Shanghai's "half-hour economic circle" through efforts such as deepening cooperation with key economic and industrial parks in Shanghai.

Changshu is building itself into a hub city for Yangtze River Delta integration, a science and technology city led by digital economy, a city for booming development of emerging industries, as well as a city featuring entrepreneurial innovation and widely-felt happiness, according to Zhou Qindi, Party chief of Changshu.

The conference had 59 contracts signed with a total investment of 37.2 billion yuan, out of which 34 deals worth 33 billion yuan were inked on site.
