BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, a pivotal region of the ancient Silk Road, hopes to attract more foreign investment while participating in the Belt and Road construction.
As a window to the opening-up of inland China and a core of China's western development, Ningxia's GDP has kept rising in recent years at a growth rate higher than the national average, and it has been making strong efforts to expand its openness and foreign trade.
In order to attract foreign investors, Ningxia has taken multiple measures to improve its business environment, including simplifying approval procedures for foreign-invested projects.
